WISE KIDS is launching a free Family Mindfulness Programme for Parents, Carers, Grandparents in Caerphilly in collaboration with our Partners the Parent Network Caerphilly

Are you a Parent, Carer or Grandparent? Are you curious about Mindfulness? Are you interested to build some calm and space in your everyday life? Are you interested to develop mindfulness with your children or grandchildren? Then do read on below and come along to our Taster sessions.

WISE KIDS is delighted to be working in collaboration with the Parent Network Caerphilly and other partners across the Caerphilly Borough to deliver a 2 part Family Mindfulness Programme for Parents, Carers, Grandparents in Caerphilly.

The first part is our ‘Find your Calm’ 4 week Mindfulness based programme for parents/carers/grandparents that will be offered in 2 formats – ‘live’ sessions 1 hour each week on Microsoft Teams (on the 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st of Jan 2022 from 10.30-11.30am) or via an online course website that you can access in your own time. All participants will be registered for both formats, so if they missed a ‘live’ session, they can also catch up using the online course website.

All participants who complete the ‘Find your Calm’ 4 week programme will then move on to the second part of our programme – a 6 week programme of mindfulness activities for parents and grandparents to do with their children/grandchildren, and which will take place in Feb and March 2022.

This programme is supported by the Integrated Care Fund which is hosted by the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board on behalf of Gwent Regional Partnership Board.
